It is this dedication to service over the last 10 years that saw them receive the much prized McDonald’s “three legged stool award” from Vice President of IT services, Henry Trickey.. He described Odema MD Nigel Davis as “a person who embodies the collaborative partner approach that McDonald’s value so much. We always get a result to the standards and excellency that he has built within the company”.

Over the last month the company has been awarded PCI accreditation – one of the few in the sector and can be relied upon to take care of Point to Point Encryption (P2PE). This reduces the risk of fraud attacks and data breaches. The investment in accreditation means that the entire process from start to finish is super secure and completely seamless. New P2PE compliant terminals can be supplied by the company and they can replace any that fail immediately, ensuring that customers are able to run their businesses compliantly, saving money on card service payments as well as avoiding the cost of fraud. 

In order to keep their customers ahead of the demands of this fast-moving sector, Odema are proud to announce they are able to supply the Powermat wireless charging mat. Featuring a unique coil structure and advanced signal processing, Powermat uses brand new Smartinductive ™ technology, enabling highly efficient and safe transfer of up to 40w of power. .The technology enables magnetic induction fields to be transferred between the table and the mat without having to drill which means installation is fast and minimises on site disruption. Units are also incredibly efficient - between 65% and 90%  - meaning that phones are effectively “supercharged”.

In addition to these exciting product and service developments Odema plans to expand into new nearby offices in April of this year, leaving the old premises entirely as a mock up store for use as a testing facility and as warehousing for the company’s expanding customer logistical requirements. The new offices will house the office functions such as project management, product development, accounts, administration and client meeting rooms. The expansion has seen the company on a recruitment drive for additional engineers which are then retrained to Odema standards in house, as well as Office management roles and further down the line  - sales managers.
