In response to the coronavirus pandemic, and following feedback from a number of healthcare operators, the IMC and Lincat teams have joined forces to develop a large capacity Mobile Hand Wash Station. This is for organisations that need to add to their existing hand wash facilities but don’t have a power supply available for where it needs to be located.
Helen Applewhite, Marketing Manager for IMC and Lincat brands, said:
“It has become apparent over the past few weeks that the hand wash facilities available on the market today are limited in where they can be located due to the requirement of a power supply. It is great that our R&D teams have risen to the challenge and so quickly developed a solution for organisations looking for a simple, hygienic and easy way to ensure hand washing is carried out by staff and visitors in the fight against Covid-19.”
The Mobile Hand Wash Station, model number F63/503, has a large 20 litre water tank, which is double the capacity of most models currently available. The water tank is easily removed for refilling and is accessed from the front of the unit.
The foot-operated pump allows the user to dispense just the required amount of water with no need for hand contact with the tap, therefore maximising hygiene.
A separate internal waste collection tank holds the waste water, removing the need for drainage. The waste tank is also easy to remove and accessed from the front so once the station is in place, there is no need to move it, unless you want to.
The Mobile Hand Wash Station is more than just a sink. With its splashback, soap dispenser and paper towel holder, as well as the optional waste bin ring, it is a fully mobile, all in one compact solution which can be located anywhere.
A robust and hygienic stainless steel construction, large wheels and a handle make the Hand Wash Station quick and easy to manoeuvre.
The IMC Mobile Hand Wash Station is available to purchase from Lincat. Stock is available now. For more information please see www.lincat.co.uk
