JJ Foodservice – named Food & Drink Wholesaler of the Year 2026 at The Caterer Supplier Awards – has launched a new Fish & Chips campaign to highlight its ‘one-stop-shop’ concept ahead of National Fish & Chip Day on 5 June.

The campaign includes a new brochure showcasing JJ’s full frozen fish and seafood range, a £30-off voucher for all new customers and an educational social media campaign explaining the benefits of MSC-certified Frozen at Sea, IQF and Wild Caught options.

Each format offers different benefits for chip-shop operators:

Frozen at Sea (FAS): caught and frozen within hours, often onboard the trawler, locking in peak freshness and a firmer texture than chilled fish that has travelled to market.

Wild Caught: hand-selected, boneless, pre-trimmed and zero-glaze – pay for fish weight rather than added ice or water, with consistent portion sizes for menu costing.

Individually Quick Frozen (IQF): each fillet frozen separately rather than in a block, so kitchens can use exactly what they need with no defrosting waste.

Featured brands include Glacialis, Enniberg, BN and Kirkella, alongside JJ’s own Wild Caught range, developed specifically for the chip-shop trade in portion sizes from 4oz to 32oz+.

The brochure covers everything else a chip shop needs under one roof – from Harrisons and Heinz sauces to Pukka Pies and Ben Shaws soft drinks, alongside alternative proteins like breaded chicken, plus all the packaging, cleaning and hygiene products to match.

Baris Kacar, Chief Sales Officer, JJ Foodservice said:

“Fish and seafood caterers have had a tough few years, and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to get back on the front foot – reliable cod and haddock supply at a time when sourcing good fish isn’t straightforward, plus everything else a busy shop needs, all under one roof, with one delivery, from one supplier.”

New customers can apply for the £30 voucher
