Twinning Is Winning!Carpigiani Unveils New High-Capacity Soft Serve Machine

Carpigiani, the unrivalled world leader in the manufacture of gelato, ice cream and pastry equipment, is delighted to unveil its new high capacity, high performance UF 720 soft serve

machine. This compact, high production unit can produce soft serve, sorbet, frozen yogurt and shakes; and can produce over 1000, 75g soft serve portions an hour – making it the perfect, versatile machine for operators wanting to boost production without compromising on space.

On the addition of the UF 720 to the Carpigiani UK portfolio, Paul Ingram, Managing Director, Carpigiani UK, comments:

At just 56cm wide, the UF 720 incorporates the advanced technology of the UF 920, but adapted into a smaller, space-efficient design. We believe that this will be a game changer for operators, as it makes high production more accessible to those with limited space.”

For ultimate flexibility, the new UF 720 has two separate refrigeration systems and user interfaces, meaning each side can run independently (or just one side can be used, if desired). A choice of two models is available – the gravity feed, which has two 16 litre tanks, and can produce up to 692, 75g portions per hour using both tanks; and an overrun of up to 40%. Or the pump feed model, which has two 11 litre tanks, and thanks to its pressurised steel pump with advanced gears, can produce up to an impressive 1040, 75g portions per hour (again, using both tanks) for outstanding performance even when demand is at its peak! The more advanced pump feed system also allows operators greater flexibility as an overrun of 40-80% can be achieved.

The UF 720 can also be further configured to suit operators’ individual needs, with a choice of door style and cooling method. Operators can choose from either a twin twist door – which accommodates the lowering of the left and right levers to dispense single flavours, with the central lever dispensing a mix of the two – or two independent doors, which allows the user to simultaneously run different programmes on each side (for example, a user can run a pasteurisation cycle, while the other side is in production mode; or even run a cleaning cycle on one side, while remaining in production on the other side!). Both are also available as a star door, which allows for the use of the new nozzles and single-portion kit.

Fully loaded with Carpigiani’s industry leading technology, the new UF 720 is a dream for operators to use and maintain. It’s equipped with an automatic self-pasteurisation system, meaning it only needs cleaning every 42 days. The UF 720 also includes Carpigiani patented Hard-O-Tronic® technology, which allows operators to adjust the machine to produce their preferred consistency, whether that’s for soft serve, sorbet, frozen yogurt shakes or for filling pots, moulds or ice cream cakes.
